This is a compilation of five analog black and white images taken in Tripoli and throughout the mountains of Lebanon throughout 2025. This collage is built around a Sema ceremony which is a Sufi ritual of a man twirling continuously for a long period of time with his arms and head held high . The ceremony is meant to connect with the divine, I wanted to capture the feeling of his movement and the ritual as I experienced it.
