After spending the day in Tyre, we drove up to Qana, a small Christian village I’d saved on my map min zamen. We spent time with an old man, the owner of a gift shop that overlooked the most beautiful valley, what looked like a river of lush green. Poppies and other wild flowers scattered around us.
